Position Summary

The HCL Software is looking for a an experienced Java Engineer with Software Product DXP experience to lead our customers in the implementation of our HCL Total Experience platform.

The Java Consultant with DXP experience will drive the following:

• Taking up full ownership of assigned technical and development activities for change requests, minor enhancements, major enhancements, and project tasks for app development requests.
• Join the team and participate on key activities within the software implementation project life cycle (e.g., discovery, development & implementation, testing, documentation and deployment)
• Support development or modification of technical projects based on standard procedures and techniques
• Participate in solution testing activities
• We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Brazil

What we need from you

Qualifications:

• Must be a Brazilian
• Must be fluent in both English and Portuguese
• Must be willing to travel 25 - 50% of the time

Experience level + functional and technical skills required

• 4+ years as an engineer / consultant using Java, JSF, Hibernate, Spring, EJB, JPA, JDBC;
• 3+ years of engineering with JavaScript and its Frameworks and Libraries
• 3+ years of experience working with a Software Product DXP such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, or equivalent.
• Critical to have 3+ year delivering to a DXP platforms such as Sitecore, Adobe Experience Platform, Acquia (Drupal), Optimizely One, HCL DX or DXP Software used for global companies
• 3+ years of experience using HTTP PROXY/AJAX PROXY;
• 3+ years of experience using Front-end tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience with Unit and / or Integration Testing (JUnit)
• Experience and understanding of agile delivery processes, as well as leading practices around maximizing usability, maintainability and scalability
• Problem solving, trouble-shooting and analytical skills
• Strong technical skills including understanding of software development principles
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI / CD Frameworks (Docker, Jenkins)
• Experience with Design Systems
• Experience with Front-end Frameworks (React, Angular...)
• Understanding of the MVC architecture
• Experience working in an Agile Environment
• Cloud Certifications

Location: Remote in Brazil with ability to support clients in South and North America.
