We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer or AWS Devops to join our team.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure, pipelines, and processes in AWS to enable efficient development and deployment workflows. You will work closely with nearshore DevOps engineers and the broader engineering team to support our rapidly scaling FinTech-focused systems.
This is a senior-level role requiring in-depth knowledge of AWS infrastructure, networking, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities
AWS Infrastructure Management: Architect, deploy, and maintain AWS services including VPCs, EC2 instances, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, and EKS.
Networking & Security: Configure and secure VPCs, manage API gateways using service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio), and implement Cloudflare for API security.
Infrastructure as Code: Use Terraform and Helm charts to manage infrastructure at scale.
Kubernetes Operations: Deploy, maintain, and scale Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and integrate with supporting services like AWS ECR.
Observability: Implement and maintain monitoring solutions with Datadog to ensure optimal system performance and uptime.
Messaging Systems: Work with SQS, Kafka, and other AWS-based or third-party messaging solutions.
Containerization & CI/CD: Leverage GitHub for CI pipelines and utilize ArgoCD for robust deployment workflows.
Database Scaling: Support and scale RDS or MySQL systems and implement application-level or database-level sharding strategies.
Software Support: Collaborate with engineering teams using Go for service-level development.
Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a senior or staff-level DevOps or infrastructure role.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in AWS, Linux environments, Kubernetes, Terraform, and service meshes.
Programming Skills: Experience with one or more development languages (Go preferred).
FinTech: Previous experience in the FinTech domain is a plus but not required.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Strong experience scaling RDS or MySQL for growing systems.
Experience with API gateways, Istio service mesh, and scaling Kubernetes environments.
Hands-on experience with ARGOCD for continuous delivery.
