Senior Engineer – API Development to support the WESS application, an Appian-based solution. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing asynchronous APIs that gather and process data from a Data Lake, ensuring seamless integration with Appian solution.

Key Technical Skills & Experience Required:

• Node.js & TypeScript (backend development)
• API Design & Development (RESTful & event-driven asynchronous APIs)
• AWS Services (Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, S3, Secrets Manager)
• Apigee API Gateway (management, security)
• Data Lake Integration (Athena, Glue, or equivalent)
• API Security & Performance Optimization
• CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins)

Candidate Profile:

• Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
• Experience integrating APIs with Appian or other BPM tools is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
• Ability to collaborate with data engineers, DevOps, and business teams
